RULES AND REGULATIONS Minimize

1

 Teams will consist of 7 players, two of which will be substitutes.

 Players in each team must wear the same colour shirt (no mix n'match)

 In the event of a colour clash, the first named team must change.

 No excess jewellery to be worn by players in games (Referee's discretion)

 Players should wear shin pads and indoor trainers with light coloured soles.

 A fully completed team sheet shall be submitted by each team to the Referee before play  commences showing names & addresses of each player 1 to 7.

 Substitutes can be made at any time during the game with the Referees consent and when play has stopped.

 Substitutes will remain seated on the side boards at all times and will not be allowed to stand in the playing area unless coming on as substitute.

 If a team has more than five players on the playing area whilst a game is in progress (unless being substituted) the Referee may award a penalty against the offending team.

 The ball will remain below "curtain height" (black line) at all times. Any infringement (at discretion of Referee) will result in an indirect free kick against the offending team.

 Goalkeepers will not be permitted to kick the ball into play unless saving or blocking a shot. They must return the ball into play by way of an 'underarm' throwing action. Any infringement will result in an indirect free kick.

 If a goalkeeper saves a ball or it bounces off him above curtain height, then play stops and the ball is returned to the goalkeeper who will resume play in the normal way of an underarm throw.

 Goalkeepers are not allowed out of their penalty area at any time whilst the game is in progress, unless they are being substituted. In the event of a goalkeeper intentionally straying out of his area in an attempt to block or save an opponents shot or collect a free ball, then a penalty will be awarded against the offending keeper.

 Players are not allowed in their own penalty area and any infringement (at the discretion of the referee) may result in a penalty decision being awarded against the offender.

 Only three consecutive back passes to the goalkeeper are permitted from his own players.

 The ball will be deemed to be still in play if it rebounds off the wall or the boards (providing it is still below curtain height)

 Offending teams will move and stay at least 1 metre away from any free kick given against them. Any infringement may result in a penalty kick being awarded against the offender(s).

 No sliding tackles are permitted -Referee decision is final.

 No intentional barging/pushing against the wall or boards is allowed irrespective of weither the ball was won or lost by either player.

 Foul, abusive or threatening language or violence towards anyone will NOT be tolerated and may be punished by either sin-bin, suspension or permanent ban from the Sports Centre or W.F.A. action.

 A sin-bin will be in operation for any mis-demeanours and this will be used at the discretion of the Referee. The time allocated will be two minutes and the offender will sit on the boards until advised otherwise by the Referee. There will be no substitution allowed for this player whilst the offender is in the sin-bin.

 No team will be allowed to cancel their designated fixture for ANY reason. If it does occur, their opponents will be awarded the 3 points plus 3' goals.

 No bags, kit or spectators will be allowed in the main hall whilst the football is in progress.

 Managers or Team Secretaries/Contacts for each team will be held responsible for their players actions/behaviour whilst in the sports centre. Any serious or continual misconduct by players may result, not only in the player concerned being suspended or banned, but the team also, either through the sports centre itself and/or the W.F.A.

 Normal "DIRECT" and "INDIRECT" free kicks will be awarded for any infringements as per F.A. regulations.

 Any rules! regulations NOT covered by these indoor ones, will be governed and dealt with by the Referee in the normal way as per F.A. rules and the Referee's decision will be final.

 No player can play for more than one team, irrespective of divisional status, during the term of the competition, unless "express" permission has been obtained from both Referees without complaint from other players.

 Any team arriving late for the commencement of their fixture, may forfeit the game 3-0 (Referee's decision is final)
